Product Design“Project Coastal Crisis” was a transdisciplinary initiative focused on designing effective strategies to address the challenge of sea level rise. Embedded within the “Design for Sustainability” studio in Art Center’s Product Design department curriculum, the project challenged students to translate urgent scientific data on sea level rise and coastal resiliency into accessible public awareness campaigns and educational tools. Among the teams, “Think Sink” raised awareness through a provocative collection of clothing and everyday products designed to encourage people to visit an informative, educational website.
